Red Catuai, from Brazil: smooth and subtle ☁️

We are excited to introduce our brand-new specialty coffee: Red Catuai from Brazil. A new addition to our roastery, this single-origin coffee brings warmth, depth, and a touch of sweetness to every cup—perfect for anyone looking to discover a new favorite.

🍫 Flavors and Aromas

Red Catuai opens with chocolatey notes accented by a fruity hint of red berries, balanced by a delicate acidity that beautifully rounds out the tasting experience. A generous crema gives it a smooth, velvety texture, making every sip rich and satisfying.

🌱 Growing Region

This coffee comes from Fazenda Dutra, a farm managed by brothers Walter and Ednilson Dutra in the municipality of São João do Manhuaçu, in Brazil’s Matas de Minas region, at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. The coffee cherries are processed using the “pulped natural” method, which brings out the coffee’s characteristic chocolatey aroma as well as its notes of red berries. Fazenda Dutra is Rainforest Alliance certified, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable and responsible farming practices.

🫙 How to Brew It Best

Thanks to its medium body and subtle, balanced flavor profile, Red Catuai shines particularly well in espresso and in a moka pot—brewing methods that bring out its chocolatey depth and delicate fruitiness without masking its refined character.
